Visited 1000 Islands for the first time and decided to stay in Ganonoque to do so. The comapny allows you to rent kayaks for 4 hours or full day or multi day. They were helpful. We saw ¾ of the islands within 3 hours in the recommended area. We only docked on 1 of the national parks to use the restroom. Though we used the map provided, we sometimes found it difficult to figure out which island was which. But it wasnt hard to find the harbour at the mainland. A nice place to explore if you have a few hours. Otherwise a boat ride is fine too.
