Just walked out after waiting over 40 minutes for bacon and eggs, which never came. Maybe they are having a bad day.

Waited 10 minutes and had to go to front desk to ask for menus. When we finally ordered after deciding on the special and finding out they were out of that, we waited for 45 minutes and no food. We paid for the coffee and left.

For a family run business, I have to give OKT props. Prices were reasonable and portions are HUGE. Open at 9a (earliest around the area) and had plenty of space.
Customer service was ok — the volunteer help from family members made it better.
Otherwise, the food was great! Bubba omelette had a ton of veggies and cheese. Wheat toast was nice, thick and filling. Potatoes were ok. Loved that there were fruits as well. Coffee was pretty strong. I do have a small complaint that the pancakes we ordered were very undercooked.

Fantastic food every time we go there! They have different specials and they are very good as well! Our favorite place for breakfast!

This amazing hidden gem in small town Fort Saskatchewan offers delicious food made with love and exceptional customer service. The prices are right, and the environment is very family orientend. Warm and cozy, tucked in the heart of the small town… I love it!

Cute little café with excellent waffles if you find yourself in a pinch in downtown Fort Saskatchewan. I got the Wow Wow Waffle at lunch on my first visit. «Life changing» might be too strong a phrase, but not by much. It had bananas, peanut butter, and walnuts on a perfectly-​golden-​brown waffle. And plenty of powdered sugar. On second thought, «life-​changing» works.
On day 2 (I came back for lunch the next day – to preface, I am here for work for only 2 days and chose this place twice. This is not a testament to the lack of options in «The Fort» but rather to the fact that even with my limited number of meals up here in Alberta, I chose to have two of those meals here), I got the waffle with fresh fruit. I was expecting more strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. But I got bananas, melons, and a few strawberries. Not as great as the Wow Wow Waffle, but it still did the trick, especially after I discovered the cream cheese hiding below the fruit in all the nooks and crannies of the waffle-​y goodness.
I can’t speak to any other food here, but my waffle descriptions should be enough. Come here, and be fed by waffles. Any time of day.

My first impression of Our Kitchen Table was good, I loved the cute comfortable, home-​like, décor. The service was very fast as well, the food was another story… My eggs benny was the worst I’ve ever had, the sauce had a very strange flavour and the bacon was wayy undercooked and fatty. My husband got the basic eggs and bacon breakfast and his bacon was super greasy and fatty as well… On the menu it said his breakfast came with fresh fruit of which we were expecting a nice little mix of fresh fruit on the side maybe but it came with 2 little chunks of melon and an orange slice, not exactly impressive by any means… The price seemed too much for breakfast (about 14 each and they only came with one slice of toast). Great atmosphere and service but the food needs some work…

Entering the restaurant we notice that it was clean and inviting however the Décor was a mix mash of different ideas all over the place.
We went at dinner time in the week and noticed the restaurant was pretty empty. After reading some reviews we were excited to try the menu and had ordered basic burgers and fries and a sandwich. The fries were tasty however we did find a metal piece off of the scouring pad they used to clean. When we brought it to the servers attention he asked if we wanted more fries no apologies or offered to reimburse.
The burger and sandwich were ok, a little under seasoned but they were not bad. If we go back we will probably go for a brunch or breakfast as it seems that has the most complements.

I love this place. I usually order Eggs Benedict with Bacon on the side. I have had quite a few meals here, The Clubhouse is amazing but I have to take it apart as I can’t get it in my mouth lol. The fries are so yummy too. I haven’t had bad meal yet here. I always recommend it to anyone that asks. Customer service is so great too, they appreciate your business so much.

We had appt’s in Fort Sask, so we came across this restaurant, and yes it was warm, friendly, and the food was delish. I would recommend this place to anyone who reads these posts and try it out.
We have been a few times now and yes we would support the local business and spread the news on new place and local as well. Come and check it out.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and the whole place was re-​done inside. It is very nice, a lot of breakfast options (about 25 – 30) just for breakfast. I haven’t been for lunch but I plan on it. Very quick and friendly service. Can’t wait to go again.

I popped over to Our Kitchen Table a few months back with a co-​worker who recommended them for lunch.
I was impressed with the spaciousness of the restaurant — definitely has the kitchen table kitchy feel :-)
The day were were there there were abour 25 ladies in red hats having a luncheon together — made me giggle happily every time I looked over at those fabulous ladies.
My coworker and I both ordered the recommended special of the day and I’m so sorry that I didn’t write this review sooner because I don’t remember exactly what we had EXCEPT that it was excellent.
The food was exactly what you would want — made from scratch comfort food. I found the price of $ 16 for a sandwich and soup a little high but the quality was top notch and the service could not be beat.
I will definitely have to visit Our Kitchen Table again and I promise to be a more diligent reviewer next time… and I promise to bring my phone so I can take pictures.

This is my go-​to spot in Fort Saskatchewan for breakfast-​brunch-​lunch since I discovered it in late June 2013. I like to arrive at about 11:30 am so that I can choose from the menu, breakfast specials, and lunch specials. Our Kitchen Table (OKT) is a real crowd pleaser, because it has more traditional breakfast and lunch options for the less adventurous and fusion dishes for those who like to try new things.
They also do the basics well. The ambience of the restaurant is very relaxing and welcoming, and the space is also family and senior friendly (lots of room for strollers and walkers). The décor is more modern and fresh, rather than being ridiculously kitchsy and cluttered like some other restaurants. The customer service is great because the owner is always there and makes an effort to get to know you. Surprisingly, they have customer loyalty cards! Where else do you get that in Fort Saskatchewan if you are not going to a chain restaurant? AND they have a website, which is definitely a rarity in Fort Saskatchewan, so you can preview the menu and check out all their yummy options.
Foodwise, my husband lives for their breakfast poutine, which is one of their specials, and the OKT wings. I regularly enjoy the bonzai pancakes, but am also frequently tempted by their delicious specials. The bonzai pancake dish consists of two pancakes with cabbage, bacon, green onions, and hollandaise sauce sandwiched between them. It is not something you initially think you will enjoy, but it is a great savory breakfast option. It’s funny how cabbage is a staple in Asian and European cultures, because to me, this dish reminds me very much of some good olé Ukrainian cooking! Not to forget their specials, I often opt for them because they have great soup and salad or sandwich combos, as well as more exotic Asian dishes.
If you have not tried OKT yet, I highly recommend it. If we want to have great food spots in Fort Saskatchewan, we need to support our local businesses and this is definitely one worth supporting.
Please note, they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. They do not serve dinner, but there have been rumors floating around that they may trial dinner later in September. Fingers crossed!
