We just had THE most delicious pizzas in the most delightful and friendly Italian style Bistro, in Fort Éire!!! UBER friendly and efficient staff and the décor is to die for and believe it or not the prices are reasonable! Give it a try… you won’t be disappointed ;-)

Very clean, roomy restaurant. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful. The chicken wings were wonderful. Another reviewer said they were«breaded». Not so. They are lightly coated and very tasty. The pizza was great too. Will definitely go back.

Went for the first time today. Great meal, huge portion. My wife had some questions about the area and the server found out all the info, and did it with a smile. Had spaghetti with veal and minestrone soup. Fresh warm bread too.

The wings here are unlike anywhere else. I’ve never met someone that dislikes the wings here! The BEST quality blue cheese. Very saucy wings .Good pizza. Decent pasta’s.Fair price. Very interesting atmosphere for a sit down dinner, lots of fun stuff to look at. liquor licenced.

Barrel was our fourth stop on the International Chicken Wing Crawl. Not well liked by two of the participants, but I didn’t have a huge issue with the wings — but I’m getting ahead of myself. Inside, the atmosphere is awesome. It reminds me of my own vague memories of a Mother Tucker’s Pizza place — neat glass lamps overhead, weird and interesting stuff on a shelf surrounding the seating area. Fireplace, and at this time of year a Christmas tree and decorations. Amazing. Our waitress was incredibly friendly, and very accommodating to Sarah’s video recording requests(Sarah, we’re going to see that video at some point, right? :)) The wings… well, as I mentioned before, I don’t have a huge problem with the breaded wings or the more ketchupy sauce(plain old BBQ sauce for wings, I’m not a fan of though). I thought they weren’t too bad — more of a kick than Chuggy’s — but the sauciness and the breading made for a wing that was a bit tricky to hold onto. Also, the carrots that came with the wings weren’t carrot sticks, but baby carrots, which really just feels like cheating to me. Pizza looked and smelled delicious — were I in the area and had the opportunity I’d probably come back to try it. Having said that, I won’t be making the trip back just for that. I rank them #4 out of 5 on the Epic International Chicken Wing Crawl.
Mmmmm best wings ever! Soooo tangy and saucy. So crispy and fried! Also, their pizza is dynamite! So cheesy, tasty light and chewy crust! Ida the waitress has been working there since the lord was a boy. This is a great family joint just off the Peace Bridge!
