decent location, with excellent hours, I just can’t get over the pricing on certain items, which makes this a somewhat«last resort» for my neighborhood of places to try and pick up groceries, or a «one or two» visit. lots of parking, lots of «pre-made» goodies, which is nice if you want to be lazy for a night. well lit, and for the most part pretty clean. the staff seem very happy and enjoy their job.

Living in #LongBranchTO, we currently do not have any organic grocery options but this Sobey’s is just a few min from home. I found everything I needed, including organic tofu, non-dairy yoghurt, organic jams & nut butters, produce, berries, organic cereals, organic maple syrup and a few other organic products that you simple can’t buy in Long Branch. Yes, this Sobey’s is a smaller sized store but I found everything I needed and when I asked the staff for help on two different occasions during today’s visit, I was helped promptly. I’ll be back at least once per month to stock up on organic ingredients/products.

I’ve been shopping at this location for many many years. For the most part I’m pretty satisfied. The staff are friendly and the place is clean. It is getting a bit old looking, and could perhaps use a facelift, but it’s still clean. There’s been a vast improvement in their Organic Food availability which is a good thing. They also are quite good with the standard produce, bakery, fish/seafood, and butcher departments. Adding the new $ 1 grocery carts is a bit of a nuisance as I seldom carry change. However they have been good enough to let me borrow a dollar from the service counter in the past(that’s trust). All in all a good experience and I won’t be stopping shopping there anytime soon.

I find this Sobeys lets me down a lot. It is really tired looking, and the produce could be better. i find i take the few extra minutes drive on the Gardiner to the Sobeys at Park Lawn and Queensway. That Sobeys is fantastic. I know the Metro is closer, but I am a points whore with Aeroplan…
