Avoid this store. I waited 1+ hours to exchange a HDPVR. The store is very understaffed and untrained. Rogers does not respect there customers the way they run this store.

I don’t go here as often anymore but I used to be here every weekend for a solid chunk of my life. Due to costs, they have cut the layout in half, increased the quantity of new release movies per new movie and reduced the # of older movies they keep in stock… unfortunately getting rid of some classics and some of the«booksturnedtomoviessoIcanfinishthatbookreport». Oh and they got rid of their adult section, which raised the type of clientele in this location considerably. Their main clientele are people who find this a better deal then netflix(wait what?), who need to buy junk food or people who want to access the cable/cellphone section of the store to get some personal face time with a rogers employee and with the selection of phones and accessories they have. The store’s cable section has really been maintained and I think the staff there are up to par with other service locations(I believe they are paid on comission too for turnover of new accounts and purchases(i.e. accessories and phones) so they have a vested interest). The video side is minimum wage labour with long hours. To be honest, the clientele aren’t always polite either so I feel for these kids working here. Overall, video stores are obsolete but every once in a while you want to go and get a movie and pop it into your vcr/dvd/blu-ray and just enjoy a night in. So that’s why I’m a fan…

Always have such a hard time here with staff. It’s a real turn off. I have stopped going in the last 6months due to this.
