Metcap Living Management

I lived in this building for a little over 5 years and it’s one of the best apartment buildings in south Etobicoke. My criteria for making this claim are routed from its cleanliness, accessibility, management, size and price.
Located just 2 minutes north of Islington station (Islington & Bloor), this 14 floor building stands alone on the East end of Cordova Ave. You can’t miss this building really… there is the most interesting statue of a mermaid ridding a horse right in front (picture attached).
This may sound like a silly advantage for living here, but when you are downtown and too drunk to slur out «Cordova is one block north of Bloor» you can simply say «Mermaid riding horse» and you magically arrive to your destination. Another great point about the location is because it’s close to Bloor you can take the vomit comet to and from the downtown core (even at 4am!)
Many of the apartments in the area are severally rundown and have a bit of sketch appeal. This building is clean and all the hallways and elevators have recently been renovated. The suites are large and all feature hardwood floors with tons of storage, new balconies, and Water/​Hydro included. My 1000 sq ft apartment was less than $ 1100 month.
