Cloth diapers, baby carriers, organic skin-​care, mealtime supplies, Nursing Apparel, wooden toys, Hazelwood, and amber necklaces, and more! We also have a Gift Registry available and can do gift wrapping! We are proud to serve Enfield, Elmsdale, Halifax, Truro, and any surrounding areas!

History

Established in 2013.

After I had my son in February 2013, I realized there was a need in the area for products for moms and babies. There was also a need for products that were free of chemicals, and locally made. So Branching Out was born! My son comes to the store with me almost every day, and we love to see all the babies and children coming into the store! We also have an on-​line store as we want the wonderful products we carry to be available throughout the world!

Business Owner

Jessica is a from a small town in New Brunswick, Plaster Rock. She grew up there graduated High School. After High school Jessica went to college where she earned a degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences. In 2012, She moved to Nova Scotia to be with her husband Brandon. With all of the growing concerns about waste and its effect on the environment, and toxins in everyday products and their effects on our health and out environment, Jessica and Brandon began to change their way of living. When they had their son Halen in February 2013, they knew they really needed to make some changes and in early 2014 Jessica opened Branching Out as a way to provide the community with safe, eco-​friendly products, and also to be able to stay home with her son.

Jessica loves to be outdoors, hiking, swimming, gardening, playing games. She also loves to bake and paint, or be creative.
