3.5 After an extensive search of Bed and Breakfasts in the Elora area, I decided on this based on a TripAdvisor review, as well as, this is one of the few that had a full breakfast included. $ 100 for 2 people. The owner, Marylin, was very nice, and was easy to book. We communicated easily by email to let her know when we will be there and when we got there, everything was ready and set up for us. The Blue Jay room was nice, small, with a large closet converted into a bathroom. It was extremely cozy, and really nice. the house also has some other common sitting areas, with TV and free wifi, but we didn’t use these. There’s a backyard that has tons of greenery and we spent the evening with some cards and wine. Definately relaxing. There’s also a small park near by(take a right at George Street and left after your cross the bridge. There’s a nice creek with some waterfowl and a playground. Great for kids. In the morning, Marilyn prepared us a full breakfast with coffee/tea. Fruits and scones with homemade preserves. Then scrambled eggs with bacon, potatoes and fresh veggies. The only thing I couldn’t get used to was the musty smell in the house.
