Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club in the Century Casino & Hotel

Comedy club within Casino. Surprisingly good food, drinks and service. Can buy tix online or day of. Great if you need a laugh ;). Location is ok. Wish more central. Used to be at West Ed which was a great central location.

Comedy is always a good night out. I go to the comedy clubs based on who’s performing as opposed to the actual location. Yuk Yuk’s tends to bring in raunchier comedians so be prepared. There is a small food menu. Order right away as it can take some time to be served. I find this clubs allows hecklers to carry on too long which can be detrimental to the show. Management should be removing them so the comedians don’t have to make them a part of their show as by then they’ve lost the audience.

Yuk Yuk’s is one of Edmonton’s stand-​up comedy venues, located in the Century Casino on the northside of the city. It’s an intimate setting that opens right up into the slot machines, with a full menu & bar, cozy seating, and hilarious guest performances throughout the week, throughout the year. Wasn’t sure what to expect. This casino is in a sketchy area. That why I had avoided it before.
It was really nice. Staff were friendly. The comedy club is small but set up nicely. Beautiful twinkling lights across a high ceiling. Casual atmosphere.
Service was slow. So I would order as soon as you get there. The food menu is very small. Mostly applies, pretty basic pub food style. But it was decent.

I love to laugh and am shocked that I don’t go to more comedy shows. This was the first comedy show I’ve been to in edmonton in probably 10 years.
I was out at the century casino and they announced over the PA that club card members were being offered free tickets to the show. Obviously a slow sales night, but I figured why not… The price was right.
The comedians were pretty good and the service was affable for a comedy club. Make sure you order more than 1 drink at a time because the wait staff at shows like this are usually over worked. The menu was pretty standard bar food, pizza, wings, nachos.
I will definitely go back because it’s a good night out and with the casino right there it’s like you get a double feature of entertainment in 1 date night!

The food isn’t as good of a quality as the other comedy clubs in Edmonton. It’s a fairly basic menu if you’re looking for bar food. The show is great and always a good laugh. It’s a nice touch being attached to the casino as it gives you more options to do that night. The service is lacking as I would recommend ordering multiple drinks at a time as you won’t see your server too often.
