This place was seriously the best. I was there for a friend’s wedding on Valentine’s Day, and this little place totally impressed me. I am a picky eater (like earls just won’t cut it), but this place blown me away! Each dish was uniquely prepared, exploding with flavours and very pleasing to the eyes. If you have a private function or just in the area and looking for lunch, please drop by this place and say hi to the nice family that’s running this place!

Wow, that was one good sandwich! I came here for a quick lunch on a workday last week and was rather impressed: not only was the daily special delicious but the soup was really good and flavourful too. It’s nice to find a good downtown sandwich shop that is tucked a little out of the way (and filled with old Citadel show posters) to enjoy lunch at!
The ingredients were fresh, the food was eaten off of real plates with silverware and the ingredient combinations worked great together!
This is in the south East corner of the Citadel Theatre building and it’s nice and quiet but there’s ample sunshine from the south facing windows.

The true meaning of a hidden gem!
I’ve been working close by for months and I didn’t find out about this place until recently, but I’ve already become a regular. Tucked into the same building as the Citadel Theatre, beside Canada Place and across from Sun Life Place, it is the perfect spot for a quick downtown lunch.
Homemade burgers, sandwiches, pizza soups and salad are on the menu. Daily specials are creative and interesting. You can get away with spending $ 10 or less on lunch here. They even have a reasonable breakfast menu that is enticing to come in early in the morning. Vicki herself is a major sweetheart and makes this place feel nice and welcoming.

Very nice little breakfast and lunch place tucked in between the Citadel Theatre and Canada Place. They make interesting sandwiches and soups. Had a good Reuben and lovely bowl of tomato basil soup for less than $ 10.
They always have good vegetarian options.
