History
Established in 2002.
The Free Press was a pioneer on 104th Street in Edmonton. Since its inception, the street has gone from forgotten to the forefront of Edmonton’s dining and nightlife scene.
Its newspaper theme (the bistro is decorated with papers ranging from hundreds of years old to Daily Bugle props from Spiderman) has moved from tribute to museum for the medium which has seen electronic media disruption all but eliminate the paper newspaper in the last decade.
