It is located in the food court in the Scotia place. We ate on Tuesday and Tuesday specials are the laksa and chilli fried rice with chicken leg~ the price is very reasonable and worth it. It’s just $ 9. The laksa was quite traditional and have Singapore m Malaysian flavour. And the fried rice was really good!

This stall has an excellent variety of tasty dishes and also some behind the counter specials. They make a wonderful eggplant with ground beef or pork that I always order. Spicy green beans. Ginger chicken. They’re all unique dishes you don’t find at the standard Chinese food court fast food places. I also enjoy the Monday Special — beef Rendang with rice, a delicious coconut-flavored spicy beef and potato stew served on rice.

I found my glorious bowl of heaven. My vain and elusive search for an authentic bowl of Laksa ends at the basement of Scotia Place. Chockful of shrimps, tofu and fishballs, the divine addition of sambal to the spicy coconut-milk based noodle soup adds a delightful flavour. Yes, I have tried everywhere for a decent bowl of Laksa — having grown up in Brunei, I have become a Laksa snob. This bowl of Laksa makes me cry because it is very delicious and reminds me of the warmth of Southeast Asia. It even beats Tropika’s Laksa! I will be back to try the Nasi Goreng(fried rice) and other dishes. I even told the cashier I would be back.(after gushing about how we’re both from Southeast Asia) So, skip the line at Chicken for Lunch and give this stall an honest try. You won’t regret it. If you aren’t as adventurous as I am, definitely go with Nasi Goreng.
