Rosslyn Inn & Suites

I did a short staycation here while major work was being done on our bathroom and was pretty impressed overall. The rates I felt were very reasonable for the quality of the hotel. Everything was very clean and modern looking. The bed in the room was very comfortable and the temperature was perfect. I was even given a basket with apples and granola bars containing a thank you note in it for being a guest.(not sure if this was something special they did for the weekend or something that is actually done regularly)
The Rosslyn is a short commute to downtown if you need to head that way but don’t want to deal with the more expensive hotels and motels in the immediate core. There is also a restaurant here but I never did wander down to try it so I can’t say much about that aspect of the experience. The Rosslyn is within walking distance of a decent Boston Pizza as well as a couple of fast food options should you not wish to take the risk of trying their restaurant. There is also a London Drugs within walking distance if you forgot any of the essentials like toothbrushes and toothpaste.
If you can forgive the fact that there isn’t any super exciting attractions close by and just want an immaculate hotel at a reasonable rate the Rosslyn is a great option.

For a weekend getaway hotel this one was pretty nice. Bed was very comfy, jacuzzi in unit was clean and big enough for two comfortably, room overall also was clean. Staff was friendly and let us check out an hour late without charging us.
Only real issues here were lack of good place to eat (see my review on canyon grill), no shuttle service to the airport, comforter was very thin and light, and the cleaning ladies left the window open 2^nd day we were there so when we got back in it was pretty cold in the room and i couldn’t figure out why the room wasn’t getting warm till next morning when we realized the window was open.
Like I said overall it was a pretty good hotel for this city… We had fun. :)
