Pizza 73

Ok I gotta upgrade my rating to 4 stars, this location is consistently excellent quality. Just had a meat lovers (yes real bacon, not greasy at all) at 1:30 a.m. on a Thursday, and it was one of the best we’ve ever had. Generous toppings, good quality, evenly distributed… a midnight pizza angel must have been working. The guy at the store was also friendly. Pizza 73 gets a bad rap in my opinion, we’ve never been disappointed at this location, and often the orders are ready a few minutes early. And let’s face it, at 2:1, you can’t beat the price: $ 18.85 for two 9″ pizzas. Way past «utility» pizza — leave that ‘honour’ to Little Caesar’s **shudders** !

I mean, it’s Pizza 73 so there isn’t too much to say about it. It’s what you get when you’re too lazy to cook or you feel the need to drown your life sorrows in cheesy, greasy goodness.
This location has always done the job. My pizza had always been made on time there, it’s always been the correct order, and on the rare occasion I get delivery instead of takeout, it’s been fairly prompt to arrive. The staff there aren’t the friendliest, but it’s not like I’m sitting there staring into their eyes, trying to make small talk while I stuff my face with pizza.
It’s a good, solid location.

Ah, the «utility pizza.» Cheap, fast and of mediocre quality. I get that you can’t always go out for Naples-​style authentic pizza, but I’m not that impressed with Pizza 73 (and what on earth does the 73 stand for?). The multigrain crust option is ok but is dreadfully chewy without multiple mouthfuls of liquid with which to wash it down. The toppings are ok but not spectacular. Avoid anything with bacon on it… as @Phil once said, there’s bacon and then there is «bacon» i.e. that dubious substitute for the real thing that too often appears on fast food items. I feel like it should be bacon* and then at the bottom of the page there is an asterisk explaining what this bacon* really is! That aside, Pizza 73 kinda sucks.
