This is as much a review of the patrons of this McDonald’s location as it is anything else. I attended this establishment earlier tonight wishing only to order a little dessert. I left there completely frustrated, without having ordered anything, because of the plague of unsocialised teenagers who were running riot in the place, taking it over in a way that would have embarrassed the children depicted in Lord of the Flies. I am very unlikely to return to this location and revisit that nightmare.

This McDonald’s the worst I have ever been to. It is McDonalds, that and well dining there isn’t too bad, I’m not too picky with that. I usually go drive thru & at any time during the evening, and this has got to be the slowest drive-thru I’ve ever been in. No matter if there is no one in front of you or a lineup of cars, the drive-thru is CONSISTENTLY slow. The last time my bf & I were here, with maybe only 2 cars ahead of us we waited 6 – 8 mins before they would take our order at the intercom, then we waited at the window where we pay for a good 10 – 12 mins. SERIOUSLY? That’s ridiculous! And it seems to be the same guy at the window who takes your order and then grabs your cash, but this time he was nowhere to be found. We drove around the corner to park the car and go in, and there wasn’t any sign stating the hours. We go in, the lights are all on and there is one female manager and the same slow worker at the window. She quickly stated«WE’RECLOSED! DININGROOMISCLOSED!!». I asked her«I’m sorry, I thought it was open, but my issue is why was it taking us so long to pay? No one was at the window?» She looked mean and quickly retorted«WEAREVERYBUSY, THEREAREONLYTHETWOOFUS!!!» I told her I understood but I only wanted to know why it was taking so long for us to even pay for our food when there weren’t any cars in front of us any more for the majority of the time we waited, but she looked like she didn’t care at all. Even though this is the closest McD’s to us, we will never go here again. My bf & I have been going here for years putting up with this kind of service and we have had it. With all of this happening both my bf & I noticed the guy taking payment at the SECOND window, when he clearly stated for us to go to the first window to pay. If we were waiting there for a long time, why couldn’t he stick his head out and signal us to move forward? We felt like idiots when in actuality for a long time coming, we knew something like this would happen again.

Drive thru wise; The drive thru lane is generally quite clear of debris and snow. The person taking your order is generally quite polite although there has been multiple occasions where they forget to give you an item which can sometimes be a hassle especially when they sometimes forget to also give you your reciept. Dining in wise; The place is always tidy and clean. The person taking your order is generally polite and prompt in getting your order together and correct. They have quite spacious seating. They have free wifi available. They have an indoor children’s playground so your kids can blow off some energy while you relax. This location is open 24 hours which is convenient for the night owls.

Usually when I don’t feel like cooking or gorging on food, I stop by McDonalds for their two minute serve time and adequete portion size. I often opt for the tried and true Big Mac, McChicken, or the Quarter Pounder dressed like a Big Mac. A burger, regular fries and regular drink usually fills me up. McDonald’s also has the solution for those late night baked cravings and I usually go for two apple pies near midnight. Let’s be honest, it gets the job done and I don’t eat it on a day to day basis so I have no complaints about the nutritional value. However, my last experience will probably be the last time I ever eat at this location. While finishing up my meal at around 20:30, I see a mouse scamper back and forth from the dining area into the closed Kid’s Playground area. I was in utter shock. If all the McDonald’s suffer from this problem, I’m going to start to learn how to cook inexpensive meals!
