This place is usually dead during the weekdays and for some reason it turns into a Club on the weekend complete with very loud + obnoxious techno dance music and smoke machine. Staff are usually fairly attentive fo customers. Food is okay but not consistently passable. Some volence in the past in the parking lot so expect security to scan your ID.

Mom and I had a busy day of pickling, and just wanted something quick and tasty for lunch. They delivered! Well, we ate there, but they had great food. We shared fish and chips, with her having a bowl of soup and I a side caesar salad. The caesar salad was tasty, fresh and crunchy. The soup, corn chowder, was obviously made from scratch, and mom said it was just about as good as hers! And she makes great chowder. The gish that came out was massive! Two large chunks and a good portion of fries. Cutting into the fish, it was a thin, crispy coating over a large chunk of fish. I can’t lie, I dug in and burned my mouth! My own fault. LOL It was tasty, crispy and HOT! Just the way it should be. We’ll be back!

This an odd neighbourhood bar. It’s a pub by day but seems to turn into a neighbourhood blue collar bar club for young people at night. Thursday night they had security that scans your ID. It’s reasonably big inside with a stage, a couple pool tables, a shuffleboard table and a corner for playing the slot machines. A good number of TV screens. Well lit with plain décor and a raised central area. Retirees were playing the slots and young folk were drinking at the bar counter. Pints were reasonable. Tried the pizza and it was good but not real pepperoni. A pub that scans your ID and takes your picture means they can get a rough crowd and was a put off for middle aged guy like me… So I would avoid evenings on weekends.
