Fast food seafood booth in Southgate Mall. Fish sandwiches and deep fried fish. But if you ask you can get grilled fish and substitute coleslaw instead of fries. Or grilled salmon sandwich. You can get milk instead of pop. Our meal was good for a fast food place.

So, my review of this Joey’s is based mostly on comparisons with other restaurants in the same chain. For fast food it is pretty standard deep fried stuff and comes down to what your eating preferences are in that regard.
Why I like this Joey’s is simple. Every other Joey’s I’ve been to has food that sucks the life out of your mouth. I’m not talking about your standard dirt or sock-like flavors. I mean makes your mouth feel like you’ve been walking for days in a desert chewing on someone’s ratty gym shorts. The food at this Joey’s does not do that. In fact, for fast food, it is pretty tasty. Especially the popcorn shrimp. Yay!
