Fairly good size of a dollar store with a variety of different products ranging in price, quality of product is average with every other dollar store, employees are friendly and talkative which is nice to see and shelves are well stocked. They also have helium balloons that you can either order or request on site(I’d suggest calling in ahead of time however, there were times that they didn’t have helium available at all.) Because they’re rarely busy, line ups are pretty much nonexistent which is awesome when you’re in a hurry. If I’m in the area, I’d be back.

I’ve been to a few Dollar Trees around the city, so you can take this as a review for the chain in general since they’re all very similar :) I’m a big fan of Dollar Tree. I find that compared to certain other dollar stores, this one has actually fairly nice stuff. I bought some plastic dinosaurs there to be used as wedding decorations, and they’re actually fairly realistic and stand nicely. Their craft section is a bit small(which is expected given that they’re not a dedicated craft store) but they have a fair bit of stuff, and it’s easily comparable to what you’d find at places like Michael’s. I was impressed by that :) They also have some rather nice stationery & cards. Also, they do bulk orders as well, which is pretty cool(I didn’t end up needing to do this cos it turns out they actually had 20+ bags of craft moss on hand, but I did call to ask in advance & they do it for people). So yep, Dollar Tree is definitely my favourite dollar store :)

Not just your usual dollar store, there were good buys to be found here! They have a great card selection including kids cards with licensed characters for $ 1.25. Great for fans of Disney, Scooby Doo, and super heroes! You can also get a foil balloon with helium for $ 1.25! Wow, that sounds like a great deal to me and you can call to order in advance. The selection is primarily for kids, and unfortunately no Dora but Minnie would do. The items I got were $ 1.25 and a chocolate bar for 79 cents. There was no line up and the cashier was friendly! Also, it was clean and pretty organized. Definitely a dollar store to shop at again!

Tired of being cramped in Dollarama? The air of depression and apathy of some(largely teenage) cashiers? Nothing is over $ 1.25 and many items are under(like $ 1, no more needing to bus to WEM, I can just take a 5 min walk!) First of all, they are open 9 – 97 days a week! Overtaken a former Royal Fork Buffet, it is a large, very open concept store, much like a superstore, with the more party/gift items in a ring around the store and the housewares/cleaning supplies to the interior. I had an amazing experience with the positive and friendly cashier at checkout, as well as eavesdropping the Store Manager treating another employee with considerable respect about the Boxing Day remerchandising(rather than browbeating her and not asking for her input) Though just in for Xmas party supplies and cards, I was quite impressed with the vast selection that differed from A Buck or Two, Dollarama and other liquidation style discount stores! I will definitely be returning for all the 50% Xmas chocolate(and saving myself the bus fare!) PS — Cash and debit only! No credit cards are accepted.
