This Dairy Queen location is located in a little strip mall area; there is quite a bit of parking surrounding, there is a drive-thru for convenience, the exterior looks fairly run down(paint peeling, damaged drive-thru sign, etc.) and the interior looks just as run down(really dim lights, cramped space, etc.). The employees are touch and go, some that you may get can be quite pleasant while others can be not so pleasant… The hot food is pretty good, ice cream cakes are awesome as with the delicious variety of blizzards! My biggest issue with this location is their drive-thru as it opens up on to 104A Street and many vehicles seem to assume that they can take a shortcut the wrong way through the drive-thru to get to the strip mall area which can be a bit frightening when you’re proceeding through the drive-thru and another vehicle comes flying in almost hitting you head on. If I’m hankering for a blizzard or ice cream cake, I’d definitely drop in again.

I don’t visit Dairy Queen very often. Mostly just once a year for to support their Children’s Miracle Network Hospital campaign. It is always super busy that day! However every once in awhile I do have a hankering for a Blizzard treat so I may go through the drive-through for that. I can’t recall ever staying to eat-in at this location. I find this location a bit run down and it seems like it hasn’t undergone an update/reno in quite awhile. Service has been on the slower side of average on non-Miracle-Treat days. Cleanliness is average. Overall I would just rank this as just an average Dairy Queen.

I’m not sure, but I may have gotten food poisoning from here on my latest trip. That said, I’m not 100% sure so there’s that. The service I received was standard for a Dairy Queen location and the location wasn’t busy during our visit. It took multiple tries for staff to use my gift card which was odd as it has worked fine before at other DQ locations. Fortunately it is almost empty now so I needn’t worry much about this happening again. I wish I knew whether or not the food poisoning I had this weekend was due to this location’s food or not. It is nice that they have Orange Julius beverages for sale here though. I really appreciate this. And it’s nice to have the burger part of the menu rather than only the chilled treats.

I really love Dairy Queen, however not this one. I recently went here for blizzards in the drive thru. There were only 3 cars ahead of us but it took 20 minutes to pick up our order. When we finally got our order the sizes were wrong! Having worked in fast food for years I’m normally an understanding person but customers want quick and right. Not slow and wrong. I might be back, I might not. It’s probably quicker to go to the Dairy Queen in Southgate mall.

I go here occasionally. I regret it almost every time. The service is always very slow. The workers are friendly. But they clearly do not care about speed. I wish there was somewhere else to get a blizzard.

I can’t help it, I like this location! Every time I go there, the staff is friendly, the place is clean and the Ice Cream is made well… nice portions of stuff in your blizzard etc! It’s air conditioned and lots of room to sit — highly recommended!

We’ve given this location a few tries now, both eating in and take out. The service is very slow with a very apparent uncaring attitude. With very few customers, a simple blizzard order took over 10 minutes to complete. It was apparent that it had been sitting, as the ice cream was already melting. This location appears dirty, as well, which brings serious doubts to my mind as to food quality and safety. I saw numerous food prep areas that had not been cleaned between uses. We will not be returning to this location.

I and my family went there at about 8:30 pm on Saturday September 24, 2011. After ordering we sat down to start eating. After taking few bites out of my burger, I noticed a cockroach in my food. It was stuck on the melted cheese. It was about half an inch long. DISGUSTING! after freaking out and almost throwing up, I looked in the box that my burger was in and found another one there. I told the kids to stop eating and got up to leave. I showed the cashier the bugs and she apologized. Then I talked to the manager. She said: «Sometimes bugs fly in from outside. We try our best to get rid of them». I told her this wasn’t a small fly that flew from outside. It is a cockroach. She asked if I wanted a new burger. I said of course not, I would like all of my money back. She gave me my money back and I left. I will never go back again.

Dairy Queens slogan is «Something different» but in reality it is much of the same. Some of the stuff you can compare to McDonald’s and some you can compare to KFC. They carry a variety of burgers, chicken burgers and salads. Nothing really stands out except for their flame thrower burger. It’s got extra spice and that’s something that you don’t find in many burgers. Overall it is just an OK burger joint and is a nice change once in a while but never a craving.
