Just walked in tonight and took only half an hour to get my daughters screen replaced on her phone. Came in on the recommendation of a friend and I too now can recommend going here. This is second time the screen has been replaced on her iPhone (ugh) and he was great in showing us how the other place replaced the original screen to basically crack again easily and then not even be usable, as usually if you crack a screen you can still use the phone. She couldn’t with hers. So that was good to know that we paid a ton for a piece of crap screen the first time. He was very knowledgable and honest and I appreciate that a lot. The price was more than reasonable!

The camera on my iPhone 5 had flecks of dust and other problems with it. All of my photos had these annoying spots on them. I brought in the phone before we went for dinner at Noodle Feast right next door, and they had the camera replaced within 30 minutes for only $ 50. I’m thrilled to be able to take good photos again, and can’t believe how quickly they did the work and for such a good price. Yay!

Although Daniel was really busy when I stopped by (there was a lady waiting for him to fix her phone while he was eating lunch and on the phone at the same time), he still took the time to listen to me spout off the problems I had with my ipod and give me some hope that maybe he could work his magic! Even though he was obviously crazy busy, by the next day I received a phone call with the diagnosis… my ipod was terminal :-(turns out it was motherboard issues, rendering it unfixable. He didn’t charge me for the time he put into the diagnosis, and was more than happy to recycle it for me at his facility (and use it for parts, I hope!). I 100% recommend Cydia Fix to anyone with any sort of tech hardware issues, as the customer service can’t be beat! Thanks again Daniel!

My sister recommended this place because she had her iPad screen replaced here. They charged $ 100 and did a very good repairing my screen as well.
The only downside was that it smelled like garbage in the store and they forgot to call me when the repair was finished. I ended up waiting an extra couple of days when I could have had it back sooner.

My husbands phone dropped and it hit the housing corner, totally denting it in and shattered the screen. Apple wanted $ 160.00 for the screen replacement. Once I mentioned the housing was dented inwards, they said they wouldn’t do it and that we would have to pay $ 300.00 for a new phone (which we can’t afford). So I researched other places that I could get it looked at. And boy, am I glad I came across CydiaFix.
I called ahead to see if we needed a appointment but he said just to come in. While we were waiting, I noticed that he speaks to his customers like they’re friends. You could tell that they’re regulars. Which really impressed me.
Anyway, He had no problem fixing the dent (for free I might add) and the screen was only $ 80.00.
We saved $ 220.00 going to him instead of apple. The phone looks absolutely amazing! can’t even tell that there was anything wrong with it and… it only took 15 minutes.
I am thankful that I came across CydiaFix and I will be going to him again.

iPhone got bricked and all my attempts to fix it didn’t work out. Went to CydiaFix to see if there’s anything they could do. Even though it couldn’t be fixed, the person working (I think Daniel) was very nice and took his time to diagnose it at no charge to me.

I had dropped my iPhone 4s and cracked my front screen.
I found this store from a local online ad on kijiji. Figured it wouldn’t hurt to try. I walked in at 11:15 am, 15 min after they opened on a Wednesday and already 2 people ahead of me. They must be doing something right if there’s so many people getting their phones fixed here.
The gentlemen was friendly, told me it would be $ 60 to fix my screen and I would get it back today. Couldn’t ask for much more than that. Came back to pick up my phone and again there’s people coming in and out to drop off their broken phones and pick up their repaired ones. This store is obviously doing something right. He didn’t get to my phone yet, so it wasn’t ready because he had been so busy. He said give him 15 minutes and he’ll fix it right away. Anyways, I just picked up my phone and am using it now. He did a fantastic job! Saves me from having to have to buy another phone. He apologized a few times for the delay and really it wasn’t a big deal to me. Great customer service, knows his stuff. All I cared about were results and he delivered.

I had my iPad Air screen replaced here today, great job, great service and a decent price. I would recommend CydiaFix

This place uses subpar parts to repair phones. We had a screen fixed on an iPhone 5 and a few days later, there was a hairline crack in the screen. This hairline crack turn into spiderweb crack. When we called CydiaFix about the situation, they laughed at us over the phone and pretty much told us to F off. I would stay away from this dump and use another repair shop.

Even though it’s a known manufacturing defect of the iPhone 5 camera lens seal, dust getting trapped under the glass isn’t covered outside the 1 year warranty (unless you ponied up for AppleCare+ and even that’s a $ 49 incident charge) so the Apple Store can’t/won’t clean or fix it. Instead, they only suggest a full device replacement of $ 269.
CydiaFix was able to promptly get the gunk out from underneath cheaply and quickly. They’re the only local repair place open on the weekend (Saturday) from what I could find.
Don’t know how well he does for screen replacement or other repairs, but I’ll be certain to come back if I have to. Well… I’ll probably just buy another iPhone entirely as an excuse to upgrade like I usually do but I may do something sane.

Daniel did the impossible for me. I know he repairs iPhones mainly but I thought I’d come in and ask if he could re solder an LVDS connector that I had ripped off my iMac accidentally while upgrading the hard drive.
His prices are reasonable and the entire family running the business is very courteous and professional.

Sounds like the bad reveiws are just cranky ppl I have had 3 phones repaired there one didn’t even seem repairable and all 3 are still working just fine !! Quick fast and no added charges

Daniel seemed very professional and showed me exactly what was wrong with my phone. I have used Cydia Fix several times including when he was working from his apartment. He is always very fast and relatively cheap. For metallic glass and a new speaker came to less than half of what Apple would have charged me to replace my phone. The glass is what it is… its glass. It breaks. Every single iphone I have ever owned, has broken. And I continue to have the glass replaced. In all honesty, Daniel is an honest guy that takes his work seriously. I have not ever left his business in a bad mood. I will likely continue using his shop to fix my phones unless Apple designs break-​proof glass. Thanks Daniel.

After many years of abuse in my many years of business travel, my iPad’s screen cracked and required replacing.
A trip to the Apple Store found me considering a $ 299 replacement fee for my non warrantied iPad.
After emailing the other iPad repair services I found on Unilocal!,none replied to my inquiries. I was looking for same day turn around time and lucked into finding CydiaFix online. I emailed them (
) and they responded quickly, saying they could turn around a repair in three hours.
Bottom line, for $ 120, I got my iPad screen replaced and it’s as good as new. The owners are extremely friendly and I am very satisfied with the workmanship (and I’m quite particular).
