Child Development Dayhomes is an accredited agency ensuring the highest quality care. As an accredited agency, we are monitored by the Alberta Association for the Accreditation of Early Learning and Care Services. We set standards of excellence and achieve a high standard of practice.

Our agency offers home-​based programs that plan around children’s interests. Every day home has a maximum of 6 children. Meals and snacks are provided based on the Canada Food Guide.

Since our dayhomes are government approved, you can apply for child care subsidy.

Whether you are looking for childcare now or several months from now, we would be happy to help you find quality childcare. Even if we do not have space available, we will add you to our «waiting list» and contact you when a spot in your neighbourhood becomes available.

History

Established in 1990.

Child Development Dayhomes began as a small Dayhome Agency in September, 1990. At that time, there were 53 children registered with 2 staff and a total of 21 Dayhomes.

We now proudly serve over 500 children in our community with 15 staff and over 140 childcare providers with affiliate agencies in Calgary and Fort McMurray.

Our staff has expertise and education in Early Childhood Education with diplomas, bachelor and master’s degrees.

Manager

I hold a M. Ed Specializing in Early Learning and Child Care, BSc, Recreation and Leisure program and Early Childhood Education program.

My favourite part of the job is supporting families, dayhome providers and staff as well as establishing partnerships in the community.
