The fastest haircut I have ever had and probably the finest as well. The guy knows what he is doing. If you’re looking for a decent haircut for a decent price, Noël is the guy. I would go back again.

I read the reviews and thought this place sounded good. I was very happy the reviews were right. He wouldn’t let me leave the chair until my hair looked perfect and he was happy. Gave me the perfect cut based on what I said I was hoping for. I heard he did the best fade in town and I wasn’t disappointed with the cut or the price. Convenient location on Whyte Ave close to 109st — I walked from U of A campus and it was only 20 mins to walk. I live in Sherwood Park though — I’ll make the drive any day of the week knowing my hair is in good hands.

I had a hard time trusting barbers with my hair for years. Trying for a change, I looked up review upon review. I heard great things about Noël and his shop and stopped by. I’ve seen some of my friend’s haircuts from other top rated places but decided to stop by Barber on Whyte. The man is professional, personable, and easy to talk to. He made sure to clarify what I wanted and did it with ease. He cuts a mean taper fade. It’s sharp and detailed throughout. The single blade detail finish was awesome too. Noël definitely knows what he’s doing and you just gotta get your haircut here and the quality of the cut would cost you almost twice as much anywhere else. Show Noël some love and stop by the next time you’re thinking of getting a haircut for sure. Thanks Noël.

Awesome! Took my son there this weekend — great haircut. We just moved from Toronto and he was worried that he wouldn’t find a good barber here. No need to worry — Barber on Whyte is excellent. The guy took the time(twice) to explain how to style his hair on his own. Highly recommend the Barber on Whyte — great hair cut, fair prices and they really listen to what their client wants.

Not a 5 star review because he cut a little too high up the side, but other than that the cut was perfect. The owner Noël is very professional, and gave me exactly what I wanted based off a picture of a haircut I had before(from another barber). The shop itself is neat and clean, and is a very professional atmosphere. Using a straight razor for the back of the neck was a plus. Will definitely be going back.

The owner is Noël and he is the guy that did my hair. As I walk in, I’m looking for the prices and Barber On Whyte has the board up in front. Not hidden somewhere. First plus for me. Anyways, I’ve been to many different barbers in Edmonton and haven’t had a decent haircut by any single one. Noël asked me what I’d like and then he said he had the perfect look for me. Completely confident. 2nd plus. And he showed it! Slightly cocky but in the nicest way possible, but definitely backs it up with skill! What an awesome Barber, really! Kudos to the guy!

Been going to this guy for years. I recommend it to any man looking for a decent cut. Zero pretension, uses great products. And you can’t find a better price. One of two places that knows what a fade is. Without the $ 45 price tag. Place is legit. Very professional and exquisite, impeccable workmen ship.

I was driving on Whyte Ave in dire need for a hair cut and noticed a new shop called Barber on Whyte. I always like to try out new places, so I decided to check it out. Noël, the owner, is a really nice guy and better yet an amazing barber. The place is very clean and has a good atmosphere to it. There is a TV and magazines near the back where you can keep busy while you wait. I noticed there was a customer getting a hot shave done and it looked very intriguing. I decided to get one done and it was fantastic. Overall the service was great, the hair cut and hot shave was awesome. Ladies and gentleman I have finally found my barber!

I have been going to Noël since the beginning when he had a barbershop in downtown. True definition of what a barber really is. BESTFADES in Edmonton and i truly mean that. Got to watch TV on his big screen and leather couches while i waited for my cut so that was a much better option than the magazines and uncomfortable chairs most barbershops offer. He suggested a style that he thought would suit me and as always, it came out perfect. He knows whats popular and what you should avoid depending on your hairstyle and how your hair grows. If you are looking for the definition of a classic barber with a modern take on whats fashionable, Noël is your guy.

On a recent trip to the BMO on Whyte, I noticed a new barbershop had opened up. Two weeks overdue for a haircut, I decided to check it out. The narrow shop is nicely and newly appointed with three comfy-looking barber chairs at the front, and a seating area in the back where you can watch TV or read a magazine while you wait. The barber, Noël(formerly of Tidory’s downtown, I think), was super friendly and instantly understood the(admittedly simple) cut I was seeking. The cut was excellent, and I appreciated the attention to detail as he finished the cut with a straight razor around the hairline. Overall, an excellent cut in a friendly atmosphere for less than $ 20. I’ll definitely be back.
