Originally from Britain, we arrived in Canada in June of 2000. Back in the UK we were always involved in the service industry, whether it was helping people to move within the UK and abroad or assisting them with funeral arrangements (we owned a small funeral service in the village of Sixpenny Handley. A very small business and emotionally rewarding work.

In Red Deer we owned a retail business for a little while but that business was not for us. We lost everything we came to Canada with and would probably have returned to the UK if we could have afforded the flights. A close friend suggested we stay and re-​build our lives, and that’s what we did.

The person that maintained our floors in that Store asked what I intended to do and frankly, I didn’t know. He suggested coming on board with him and take up carpet cleaning. So I did. Rick turned out to be my best and closest friend in Canada and fully supported the decision start on my own. The rest, as they say, is history.

Born in Manchester, UK Stephen has always worked hard to please his clients and those around him. From buying his mother a gift on his way home from school to moving folks around the world when working for a moving company and taking the time to ensure funeral arrangements were taken care of right down to the last and finest detail. Lately, ensuring the furniture is put back in place after a carpet cleaning, his attention to detail borders on the obsessive. Regardless what he does, its the quality of service that has always come first and will continue to do so. Large or small responsibilities, they are all given the same meticulous attention to detail and its this attention that ensures he stands out from the crowd.
