There’s a huge back story. If you haven’t read about my wintry emergency and the terrible experience down the street at Daisy Mart, please see said back story: So after that, I ran(crying) over to V-8, and he(OFCOURSE) let me use the phone and yellow pages to look up the CAA number. I went back to let him know I was OK after the whole thing was over. He said he was glad everything worked out, and his wife mentioned it next time we were in as well. He didn’t understand why the other store owners had been such cows. SO: the review. This place is run by the BEST couple! They are sooo nice! Very friendly, great smiles, genuinely sweet-seeming people. They are well stocked with icy treats, pop(including some hard-to-find varieties like caffeine-free diet Pepsi and cream soda), chips and frozen foods. They are, unfortunately, lacking in variety of gummy candies though. They also sell Avon, weed paraphernalia, some jewellery, random household tools and other items(tennis balls, shower curtains, etc.). After they helped me in my hour of need, we always go here instead of Daisy Mart. The man always gives us a free copy of the Toronto Star! SONICE! so unnecessary too. I love that. Being a neighbourhood business owner also means you are PARTOFTHENEIGHBOURHOOD and therefore should be a GOODNEIGHBOUR. It’s tied right in with good business practices and customer service. It(CLEARLY) makes a huge difference.
