Nothing is more interesting to browse than a well stocked used bookstore. Gallowglass has a wide assortment of titles on every subject under the sun. They should have some appeal to collectors, as there are first editions and a few rather old looking books on their shelves. As with any used bookstore, you never know what you’re going to find, but if you are willing to browse for a good half hour, you’ll most certainly find something of interest. It may be best not to go into the store with any particular book in mind and just let fate guide you.
Very friendly staff. Yet another reason to get off the Trans Canada Highway and spend a little time in downtown Duncan.
