Joey, our Master Fabricator, has worked as a solid surface fabricator for over 20 years building a reputation as the best on Vancouver Island. With his focus on quality craftsmanship & outstanding customer service, Joey leads our fabrication department.

Karen, our co-​owner, brings over 25 years of business experience as a business consulant & coach as well as an MBA from Queen’s University to Akribela. Her marketing & business skills have provided a strong foundation that our high quality stands on.

After years of working for other employers, feeling under-​appreciated & wanting to deliver a higher standard of customer service, Joey & Karen formed Akribela (which means «perfection»).

Over the past 3 years, they have built an excellent reputation as the ‘go-​to’ company for custom, long-​lasting, easy care countertops for both new construction & renovations in both the Residential & Commercial markets. Award-​winning builders & designers seek them out.
