Dr. Duncan Higgins has always been passionate about improving people’s lives through orthodontics but he’s never been content to simply do as others do. That’s why his approach and innovations have been recognized as real game-​changers in the field of orthodontics. For Dr. Higgins, it’s not just about straightening the teeth, it’s about delivering an experience during treatment that’s fun, comfortable and fast.

So let’s get the obvious out of the way. Dr. Duncan Higgins is kind of a self-​professed geek. He’s never tried to hide it. He loves science and technology and how it is always changing. He says, «You never know what the latest tech craze, or advancement in science will be but staying on top of technologies that enhance my patient’s’ experience and results is not negotiable. For me — it’s also fun! Technological advancements aren’t just for phones and video games!»

His passion for the science of orthodontics though doesn’t get in the way of Dr. Higgins’ goal to provide his patients the very best experience in his practice. In fact, he focuses on treating patients the same way he would treat his own family. At Delta Orthodontic Group there are always lots of smiles and the warmth of personalized care from Dr. Higgins and his team.

Dr. Higgins received his dental degree from the University of Alberta in 1977. He completed his orthodontic residency at Indiana University in 1981 where he
