Pro Experts Painting specializes in high– end historical home restorations and architectural paint projects. Scott Martell, owner, studied his trade in the UNESCO heritage town of Lunenburg Nova Scotia, where he developed a passion for beautifully detailed architecture.

Pro Experts has been growing successfully since 1996.

Recently Darryl Peach has joined Pro Experts to make things… just Peachy. He provides drywall services for both a full new construction and residential home repairs. He has the staff. knowledge, and expertise to give you the best service, advice and quotes for the last 30+ years.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

My name is Scott Martell. I studied my trade in the UNESCO heritage town of Lunenburg Nova Scotia, where I developed a passion for beautifully detailed architecture.

I grew up in the Southdale/​Woodside area and have lived most of my life close by. I am a Dartmouth High School graduate, following from: Southdale Elementary and Prince Arthur Jr. High. I had a paper route for both The Daily News and Halifax Herald and was a member at Senobe Aquatic Club. All are proud institutions of Dartmouth!

While completing a BSc at Dalhousie University, I operated my first successful painting company, Student Picasso Painting. Upon graduation, I parlayed my summer earnings into a very successful retail store selling sports memorabilia, comic books, and collectables. The business rapidly expanded to include wholesale distribution and a second location.

Eventually, my creative flair beckoned me back to my trade of choice and Pro Experts Painting was born.
