Karen’s Recycling Ltd

This is the closest depot from my home, so it’s often the spot we use to to cash in on our post-​party empties. It’s on a huge lot, so there’s no worry about finding a spot to park. The guys are pretty friendly, compared to some other places, and pretty quick. It does its job, it’s open 7 days a week compared to other recycling depots that are closed on Sundays, and they’re quick at sorting through your «I swear I’m not an alcoholic» haul.
What doesn’t give this four stars is that they no longer offer electronics disposal. The volume of electronics being dropped off for safe disposal wasn’t enough to warrant the service, so if you’re looking to safely unload that old tube TV or ancient computer, you’ll have to go somewhere else.
