You’ll find awesome baby products, from jogging strollers to cloth diapers to nursing gear, and unique, educational toys, from wooden castles to handmade rattles.

Our products are super stylish but practical. They’re fun but worry-​free because they’re health-​safe and eco-​friendly. And whenever possible, we tried to find things that were local and handmade and made of sustainable, natural ingredients.

Looking for an affordable, eco-​friendly way to get new sizes for your growing sprouts? Our Clothing Exchange helps local parents share high-​quality, barely-​used kids clothing. You save money and great clothes stay out of landfill.

And most of all … we’re fun! Having a baby is a pretty amazing experience and we’re here to help you celebrate this new phase of life.

History

Established in 2010.

Lisa Donaldson & Nancy Rector are sisters-​in-​law who were finding it tough to get baby and kids gear, clothing and toys that was the right balance of high quality, affordable, eco-​friendly and stylish.

So they decided to open a baby shop that did things differently. They based their business on three values: reliable expertise, affordable quality and outstanding customer service. They also based their business in their home town of Dartmouth and are proud supporters of their community.

They work hard every day to make sure everyone has a great experience at Fiddleheads, and in return, after only being open a few short years, they’ve had amazing support from far and wide.

Nancy is here to help you figure out what you need, what you don’t, and how to have fun along the way.

Our resident toy and gear expert, she started researching baby products when she was 13 and hasn’t stopped since. She has a passion for strollers that verges on the obsessive and is currently in the midst of leaning everything there is to know about car booster seats.

The veteran mom of two crazy little ones, Nancy is the savvy author of our blog, facebook page, tweets, newsletters and any other form of communication that lets her celebrate a love of all things baby. Careful when you come in the store — she might try to kiss your little one!
