This pizza shop has a lot of room for improvement. The first time we ordered from them we had a friend visiting and we decided to order food. She told us she had there panzarotti in the past and it was good so we ordered some of those. We live right around the corner from this place but was told it would be 1 hour for pick up? On a Friday night for three panzarotti… Ok then. When we arrived 1 hour later we were told they were just being dropped in the deep fryers and it would be another 10 mins… Wow outrageous. When we finally got home and tried them they were dripping with oil… Very bland and hard to chew… Overall I maybe ate 4 bites and was so grossed out I tossed the rest. Needless to say it was a long LONG time before we ordered anything else from them. One night we wanted to try a new/different type of pizza so we ordered a peperoni pizza from them. Once again we were told 1 hour for pick up, sorry I dont care how busy you are, that is insane… There are many other pizza places in the city just as busy and the pick up time is average 25 to 30 mins. When we got the pizza home we found the crust burnt… The sauce was alright and peperoni was decent but the mouthfuls of ashy dough was just too much to handle. Overall between the wait times and the low quality of food I’m shocked at all the positive reviews about this pizza place, avoid unless you order before you become hungry and do not care about the quality of the food your paying top dollar for as they are not the cheapest place either.

Really good pizza place. We were told by friends to call there for pizza one night and we haven’t ate pizza anywhere else since. The ingredients are always fresh and tasty. Waiting time is proof that they are one of the best in town. On Friday-Sunday you must expect a 45min-1h wait for your order. They are that good. Have to try donair next time. We like the pizza so much that we haven’t tried anything else yet. Very friendly staff on both PU and Delivery.

In an effort to branch out from my usual, neighbourhood pizza takeout joints, I turned to Unilocal to explore some new options on a Friday night. Anapolie definitely stood out with some glowing reviews and thus, my lazy Friday in plan was complete. Now, I’ll call the pizza fine. The toppings were fresh and the cheese was cheesy. I did find the crust a bit on the dry side, particularly on the garlic fingers which I would have hoped for both more cheese, and more garlic. All in all though, it fit the bill for a quick and easy takeout order. Where things didn’t quite stack up for me was first the hour-long wait for a pick-up order. PICKUP. Not even delivery. Crazy talk. Next, while the guys in the shop were really friendly to me, I heard them ripping another customer a new one between themselves after getting a check-in call from an overdue delivery order. Lastly, and this was so shocking to me that it deserves its own paragraph, the order of two medium pizzas and a small garlic fingers came to over well $ 50. Guys. That’s wacky. Like, I couldn’t even believe it as I pulled out my debit card. While it was fine $ 30 – 35 pizza, when the price is higher than Morris East, I have to scratch it from my list.

Wow, why no five stars? This is pizza done right. No conveyor belts, no premades getting defrosted in the back. Just good fresh pizza cooked in a real pizza oven. That means the bottom of the pizza is crisp and golden, and the rest is perfectly chewy. We will not be having pizza from anyplace else!

One of my 2 favourite pizza joints in Cole Harbour. Everything is made so fresh, but a little warning to those sensitive to spice, the pizza sauce has a little kick to it. Quick cook times and friendly staff. Not sure about delivery service, we pick up.

We don’t get take out pizza often and occasionally donairs. We have been going to a place closer to home that was meh so when I saw Anapolie as a ROD last week I decided to give it a try. It’s a little further from home but still on my way. I called in my order on a Friday before 5:00 and was told about 40 minutes for pickup. I arrived in about 35 minutes and waited about 15 more before the pizza was ready. Very busy spot, which is always a good sign. the place is small but has a few chairs for waiting. Looked clean from what i could see. Pizza was fresh and tasty and I think this will be our new pizza stop. Will have to try their donairs before I can up the star rating.

When it’s pizza night, it has to be Anapolie. It’s actually on speed dial on my cell phone. See, I’m not the only who has figured out that it’s the best pizza in Cole Harbour so you have to be prepared for a bit of a wait, especially for delivery. I have waited up to 90 minutes for my pizza to be delivered but it is always well worth it. The crust, although not thin, is always crispy. The sauce, which really makes or breaks a pizza, is always absolutely fantastic and the toppings nice and fresh. I love pepperoni, donair meat and onions. Yum! A couple weeks ago, we also ordered donairs for my daughter and her friend. Not being a native haligonian, I’ve never really gotten into donairs… just can’t do that sweet sauce… They loved it however, proclaiming it one of the best they’ve had. Writing this made me hungry… there’s still a few slices left…
