Truly horrific. I came in to purchase a sofa, loveseat, and chair, Julie assisted me and was great, as she was leaving soon she suggested that I speak with another sales rep, she called him over and he yelled across the store to her«what do you want», completely demeaning behaviour for a colleague. He came over and scoffed at me, making comments and insinuating that I couldn’t afford it, this was completely and utterly rude, he talked over me and said if I didn’t commit to the sale in he would sell it and I was out of luck and flat out walked away from me. I was ready to spend $ 2000.00 on a set, but walked out, not before speaking to guest services about his rudeness and their loss of business. I am completely in awe of how a potential customer was treated. I will never return to this store, and they can be sure that I’ll be posting about this on social media. NEVERAGAIN.

The sales associate lied to me about what was being included in a deal when I purchased a mattress just to get a sale. When I talked to management about it they didn’t care. After several more frustrating conversations with management about the issues and the fact the sales associate also ordered the wrong item I decided to go to sleep country a few days before my mattress was due to arrive. They matched the price and took another 5 percent off. They gave great service with no pressure. I highly recommend never shopping there instead. The sales staff here lie to get sales and are very pushy. The managers show a complete lack of service and competence.

Terrible company with terrible rules! I hope they go out of business soon. This is not how you should do business! I understand that the market is slow and business may not be as great as it was few years ago but you can’t do business like this otherwise you go out of business altogether. I’m afraid have to agree with those who rate this store low. As soon as they take your money the company does not want to deal with you anymore. they sell you $ 100 pillow and two weeks later it flattens and you call customer serive and they say«it is normal» and that pillow sales are final and no exchanges alowed. Are you kidding me? This is not my first time buying or using a pillow. You charge high for a low quality product and call it final? Also bought an adjustable bed(floor model) and fourth day after delivered it was not working. Called customer service and they said it is not returnable or repairable by Brick and that I have to call manufacturer and because it was a floor model for two years the warranty did not cover shipping or labour! stuck with a non working adjustable bed that I bought less than a month ago! You call this standing behind your products? You like stealing people’s money! I’m never going to give you a third chance, The Brick

The store manager is a complete dick. Says that I should be grateful since he took a mere 5% off my purchase of over 2000 $. He said and i quote: «you should be thankful im doing this for you. You either take it or leave». I left obviously, and will not be back. Also, the sales reps are cocky and fight over customers. Had three different reps approach me and fighting over for their sales. Then all they do is ask«are you buying today» over and over, pressuring you to buy.

Big store in busy plaza. The usual depts, electronics, mattress, appliances, home theatre and of course, furniture… Walked to the right, and Belinda pleasantly tried to find that perfect Ottoman with storage and its hinges, but no dice.

I purchased a bedroom set from them and will never forgive myself for it. I work in the furniture industry and I know what customer service is. These guys don’t and don’t seem to care either. The bedroom set I bought was a 6 piece set and was around $ 1300. I know I didn’t spend a lot of money and wasn’t expecting a durable, long lasting furniture set like many people do. I got what I paid for, I get it. However, the bed I have came with three wooden slats and each are supported by a little wooden leg that sits on the floor. These legs keep sliding out and and the bed is so unstable that every week I have to take my mattress and box spring off to try and somehow stabilize it. Every time my partner or I turn in bed or shift positions the bed shakes so much we get terrified that it will fall apart on us. Attar almost a year of enduring this nonsense I visited the Brick and asked them kindly if there is anyone who can help us. I explained to the girl at customer service that I do understand it is a cheaper product but that it us unstable and I just want to know if they can send someone to reinforce it. I wouldn’t even mind paying for it(which I shouldn’t have to). She asked me to she her what I was referring to and I took her to the exact same bed I own and showed her my problem. Well when we lifted up the mattress so I could show her the crappy slats they gave me I was surprised to see that they had very nice metal ones installed on their flood model. She basically told me that because it is a cheaper bed and my own fault for buying it she wouldn’t do anything to help me. She told me to go to Rona or Home Depot and see if I could fix myself. Really? You advertise a product on your showroom flow and give me the illusion that what I am buying is identical and then send me a piece of crap. I am still battling this bed and will eventually give up. I should have gone to ikea and bought a set for half the price which is actually durable. Lesson learned. Ps– the drawers on my dresser collapse and are stuck since day 1 and my end table wobbles. Stay away from these guys.

I have mixed feeling about this Brick store(mostly bad though). I agree with one of the reviews on Google that the older man was probably the best sales rep we have dealt with at this location. We went there one year ago just to look around and he was helpful in giving advises. However, recently when we went back to that store, every other sale reps we talked to were terrible: 1) During one visit when the store was close to closing, we walked in just wanted to have a quick peek for the mattresses promotion. Then this one guy came to us to ask if we needed help, which was fine. But after that he asked us to come back next time when he’s around, so he said something like this«DON’T COMEBACKTOMORROWANDTHEDAYAFTER(SATURDAYANDSUNDAY). I’m off on Monday as well, so COMEBACKNEXTTUESDAY so I can help you.» Well, it’s understandable if we had a good relationship with him but saying this to customers when they just walked into the store seems ridiculous and unprofessional. Customers probably usually have more time to shop for furniture during weekend — why would any sale rep said that? lol Asking customers to return to the store next time when he is around without understand their need is just terrible. A few days later when we went back to check more furniture, this same guy asked us whether we needed help THREE times even though we told him we didn’t need help each single time. He didn’t seem to remember us at all. lol There’s another guy who seems to know what he was talking about but after we did more research on the Internet, we found out we disagree with most of his recommendations. We realized he might be just trying to sell as much services as possible. Also, one time he called us to go back because that weekend has a HUGE discount for appliances but he couldn’t tell us what the prices are on the phone. So we went back and it turned out the discount was the SAME as the discount the weekend before and during the week. The prices weren’t even as good as Sears. Also, their so-called VIP event invitation was not as good as we expected. Overall experience at this store is terrible. If anyone is going to this store, we would recommend talking to the older guy. Or, if you want to get a good discount, maybe you can talk to the sale managers? We later went to another Brick in Coquitlam and we had a much better experience over there. Sale rep’s we dealt with seemed to be more professional.

The Brick has been my go to place for home furnishings. I never have an issue with high pressure sales people, in fact, when I went to purchase my bed the sales person wasn’t pushy at all. Part of my deal was a 42″ television. Granted it’s not a name brand plasma but it does the job and I have not had a problem with it. I did purchase the warranty which was about $ 240 for 2 years and if it’s not used in that time I can use the money toward another purchase from The Brick. I don’t think that’s such a bad deal.

They want warranties on «EVERYTHING., They make more on selling the waranties than their products, and their salespeople are severely repremanded when they do not sell a large percentage of warranties, If a salesperson can’t close the warranty, they may send in a manager to high pressurre the need for a warranty, if their products from China are so great, why are warranties needed… lol! And… do you believe bicast is real leather? DONOTBUYTHEIRWARRANTIES!

I have a secret crush on the Brick. I bought a new couches there last year, and after the recession hit this year I decided to upgrade my kitchen appliances. When I went to look at appliances the store was mostly dead, it was a Wednesday night. The sales person remembered my boyfriend having called earlier with questions regarding certain models we were going to look at. The sales guy was great, I have a tendency of saying things to get reactions and he had a good sense of humor about it. He answered our questions about the pros and cons of their financing vs paying today kind of thing. Best part, I got my fridge half price and although they were brand new models my stove and dishwasher were discounted as well. No complaints! I will definately go back for my next being purchase.
