I went to Rocco’s for the first time yesterday. I didn’t know this place even existed until I saw a Groupon for it. Sometimes it pays for businesses to advertise through Groupon because I will definitely come back to shop here! I purchased a variety of items from deli meats and cheeses to lemon olive oil and boxed risotto. Their selection of Italian treats is better than most places I’ve been to and I found their prices to be really good, even without the Groupon. They have a small area where you can sit and eat your deli sandwich or enjoy a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. What really stood out for me, though, was the service. The guy working at the deli counter slicing meat was very friendly with a great smile.(and wow, was he ever cute!) When I had questions about some of the different meats they sold, I was offered a taste to see how they compared. Made my decision so much easier. What a great neighborhood gem this place is. I’ll definitely be back when I run out of olive oil.

Amazing place! I love everything about it! The layout is perfect… the way they have everything displayed makes it easy to find what you are looking for. It’s just so awesome that there’s a Deli combined with all these wonderful traditional Italian foods. It’s like a mini grocery store and Deli combo:) Staff of very friendly and helpful, food is tasty and coffee is perfect every time I come. One thing I really love is the uniqueness of the décor! So happy to have found you Rocco :0) What I also love is those mini Hagen Dazs ice creams:)

Used a Groupon to check this place out. Went in near closing time. Bought 4 different sandwiches, sausage rolls, and a cookie. Everything tasted delicious. The staff was friendly and the place was neat. Loved the tables. We’re coming back and trying out other goodies.

My friend(who is particular about coffee) swears by the joe here, so I dropped in for a looksie yesterday. I was so distracted by the many Italian delights available that I forgot to grab a coffee. Next time! The main source of my absent-mindedness was the display of vats filled with olive oil and ‘growlers’(small) or bottles(large) to pour the liquid gold into. I LOVE fresh olive oil and buying it in small quantities to ensure quality of taste. I sampled the oil first with delicious bread and found it full bodied and robust. I immediately purchased a growler for 1⁄3 of the price of ‘MEH’ oil from the grocery store. Ding ding ding! We have a winner. So pleased this is available in the ‘hood. Got some sun-dried rosemary flatbread that was a crowd pleaser. The breads, sandwiches and pasta(i.e. squid ink) bear a repeat visit for sure. Another day I will return with my iPad to work in the space, as it is light and pleasant. The staff were kind and friendly despite being kept busy with a long line that moved briskly. The washroom is located through the back door into the bowling alley that is adjacent to the strip mall.

Tried their frenchy panini. Wow. So yummy. Made me wanna try their other sandwich right away. The atmosphere is great. The shop is clean and organized. On top of coffee and sandwich, there are also lots of Italian food to buy. Great place to hang out.
