History

Established in 1992.

Cheryl MacDonald and Tracey Gill purchased an agency on 41^st and Victoria in Vancouver June 1^st 1992. Tracey and Cheryl quickly put their stamp on the business growing the agency client base. We quickly outgrew the Vancouver location and April 1^st 1998 looking to be in an area of development, we moved to Westwood Plateau Village in Coquitlam and established ourselves as a local presence for our industry. Before long we went from just the 2 of us to 7 employees to service our customers insurance needs. Recently Cheryl MacDonald retired and Tracey now drives the business on her own with the help of her very reliable, capable and knowledgeable staff; Carie Moran, Angie Jones, Angela Lugrin, Karissa Lodewyke, Deanna Desjarlais and Jessica Petraschuk.

I came to the Insurance industry via a Marketing Management Diploma at BCIT. I graduated BCIT in 1986 and embarked on a career in Real Estate and Mortgages. A lunch with a good friend ended up being a side step in my focus and my start in Insurance in 1990. I worked at a Burnaby agency for 2 years. The relocation of it out of the lower mainland fueled the move to purchase an local Vancouver agency in 1992. Over the next 3 years I upgraded my licencing to the highest level and spent time building our new business. Marriage in 1994 and 1^st child in 1996 were driving forces in moving the business to my hometown Coquitlam, BC in 1998. My business partner retired January of 2015 and I purchased the agency outright. I am an avid volunteer in the local youth soccer community, with long time family affiliations in both hockey and lacrosse and spend most of my leisure time supporting my children in these sports as well as their Archbishop Carney High School teams.
