Place is closed. Thankfully. Coffee sucked and so did service. Could never be like Gallagher’ the previous shop

Had the Reuben sandwich. Soggy bread with a single chunk of corned beef that you can’t cut with your teeth. Only a few pieces of sauerkraut over all the worst Reuben I’ve ever had. Girlfriend had the chicken sandwich and it was a little better. Chose to go here because previous reviewer said food was fresh. But I heard a lot of microwave action going on. Would not recommend.

Updating my review! This places gets another star for it’s stellar sandwiches and fresh baked goodies. I’ve been here a handful of times since my first post in Sept 2013(yay for a 5 minute drive!) and it’s been pretty good on average! There’s ample seating, and I’ve always seen 3 – 4 patrons sitting inside whenever I’ve visited. First of all, get the carrot walnut bread. It tastes almost like pumpkin spice in a bread form. And it’s topped off with just enough cream cheese icing on top. Perfect balance. I challenge you to eat just one bite. I tried the chicken samosa, and it wasn’t too bad. They asked if I wanted it heated, and they used the panini presser to heat it up. Glad it wasn’t a microwave. It was about $ 2, and a decent snack size, but I wouldn’t recommend it solo for lunch. As for taste, it’s your average Westernized samosa. There is this one barista who is dreadfully slow, and I’m not sure totally understands how to make lattes. I ordered a green tea latte, and it tasted like hot milk with matcha powder mixed into it. I saw her steam the milk, as the coffee bar is open, but there was no foam at all. Definitely loss a star there. I also ordered the roasted chicken sandwich with greens(you can opt for chips) for around $ 9.50. Decent size, and the ingredients were fresh fresh fresh! My sandwich had a decent amount of chicken, fresh greens, old aged cheddar, roasted sun-dried tomatoes and pesto sauce, all between two slices of whole wheat cranberry bread. While the sandwich was really good, I found the old aged cheddar over powered the pesto and the sun-dried tomatoes. Basically, all I could taste was the cheddar. Mind you, it was still GOOD, but I wish I was able to taste all the other ingredients. The bread itself wasn’t bad, but there wasn’t a lot of cranberries on it, unfortunately. I would dock half a star, but since I can’t do that, the place gets 4⁄5.
