At this point — ‘thief’ works.
I ordered and paid for my leather furniture (+ $ 3000.00) to the sales rep Mike Pishbin in August 2014. It is now the end of October 2015 and I have NOT received it. He maintained contact with me through the west coast port (USA) and our canadian CN rail strikes. On September 1^st he emailed me letting me know the container had finally arrived at the warehouse and he would be able to deliver after September 26^th. I then gave my current furniture away to a family in need. The last email I received from him was September 30^th; he was waiting for the delivery drivers to free up. Nothing since … my emails, calls and texts just go unanswered. I have no living room furniture and don’t have the dollars to replace it. So now I’m using a patio chair for TV viewing… real comfy… not.

Worst after purchase service!
My wife and I purchased almost $ 5000 worth of furniture here. While it’s logical to question why we didn’t just simply dropped by at other places like the Brick, Ikea or any other furniture places… I have to admit that for the price and the stuff we got, it was very reasonable. Unfortunately, the stuff takes forever to arrive.
By the time we ordered and when all of our stuff finally arrived, it was about 9 weeks. The initial time was supposed to be only 2 weeks. Now, waiting an extra 7 weeks isn’t the end of the world, but it’s the lack of courtesy and information that drove us nuts. Every time we called, they kept saying in a couple of days. Once the delivery date arrives, we call to confirm only to be given random excuses why our furniture wasn’t ready for delivery. Driver/​delivery guy injured, truck broke down, order haven’t been received by the manufacturer, delay in shipment from the manufacturer, wasn’t on delivery list, accidentally sold to another customer, etc… I mean seriously? Either I have the absolute worst luck in the world or just they simply have no concept of time and logistic management.
I can tolerate slight delays, only if I was told of such things beforehand. Most of the time it’s myself or my wife staying home all day waiting for the delivery truck to swing by, only after the time has passed that we give a call and then told of them not being able to come that day. I mean… WTF is up with that? One day they say our stuff is packed and ready to go, then next day they say our stuff is still on the freight and on the way to the furniture warehouse.
Most time I call, the manager is unavailable and when he is, he always have a reason why my stuff isn’t ready yet. I sometimes feel bad for the sales staff, they have mentioned how poorly some of the business practices on the managerial side is a bit lacking.
The price is decent and the quality (so far… knock on wood) is great, but unless you’re willing to be lied to constantly and wait forever to receive your purchase, it’s probably best to shop elsewhere.

Nightmare experience. DO NOT give them any money up front. Furniture looks good and is reasonably priced but don’t be fooled… You won’t get it. These guys took our money over 3 months ago for a bed we have not received. They have promised us delivery 4 times now and not shown up. No phone call, nothing. Very rude, considering we’ve had to rearrange our work schedules to be home. Now when we call we just get the run around from Mike the «gentleman» who sold us the bed. Do yourself a favour and go to MJM. They have the exact same thing & after checking the BBB site we wish we’d gone with the quote they gave us. It was slightly more expensive, but at least we’d have a bed to sleep on rather than a case for small claims court.

An appalling experience so far. The journey began in early March and it’s still not over. My wife were happy to buy a storage bed with so much space, but it had to be made, OK. The delivery range was 6 – 8 weeks. On week 9 I had to call in, our salesperson, Mike, told us that is would arrive at their warehouse the next Monday and it would be shipped out that week. This was actually the Victoria Day holiday so lets call it Tuesday. I didn’t hear anything from anyone on week 10 so I called back. I was given the run around and was told I’d be called back next week. Week 11 rolls by and I call back at the beginning of week 12. I’m told it will be delivered on Wednesday or Thursday, finally right? Nope. I heard nothing on Wednesday and called them Thursday afternoon as I had not heard anything. The manger Rick couldn’t be reached at the time and he ended up leaving me a voicemail saying that it would not be delivered till next Thursday. My wife called back and spoke to our salesperson who gave her the run around.
Eventually Rick called me back again and said the manufacturer screwed up on five beds that were all supposed to be Kings but were made as Queens. This really sounds like a load of BS to me, companies that make mistakes like that don’t last long. Considering most of the 6 – 8 of delivery time accounts for making the product they should have known long ago that a mistake was made and it was going to take longer than the expected date to deliver it. That either means they have poor customer skills or they are flat out liars.
Back to the saga. I called Rick back and stated how unacceptable this was especially considering we would be getting rid of our old bed on the weekend and I certainly didn’t want to spend the next 5 nights on the floor. He was originally going to say he’ll check with the manufacturer to see if they can get it for Tuesday but then outright said he will get it done. I told him I will hold you to it. Now it’s Tuesday, no one calls me and it’s 1PM. I call them back, delivery manager says its scheduled for Thursday. How can this be? Well they said that’s what it says. I ask for someone who can explain this to me but Rick’s on lunch. So now I’m waiting for a call about my bed on week 13.
I’ll let you know if I ever get this thing. They are really earning their F rating from the Better Business Bureau (listed as K & G Home Furniture Inc. at the same address). Investigating a little further it looks like its been the same owner through three different name changes. I assume they have continuously provided horrible service and are changing the name to fool people. Well fool me once shame on you, I won’t be purchasing here again. I’ll do my research, you’d be surprised, there is no shortage of furniture stores with poor BBB ratings.

warning do not buy from this place. They try to scam you by delivering cheaper products than you actually paid for. My parents bought a mattress from here and they delivered a USED mattress with stains and holes in it, twice! When asked for a refund they are arguing that they have tried to deliver two mattress… Its unclear if we will get our money back.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

Absolutely do not buy anything from here. We bought our couch July 1. We called and called and called and the only time we got to speak to a manager was when he accidentally was the one to pick up. 6 months later… They didn’t show up for the first delivery. Tried to pass off a cheaper couch as the first delivery. The second couch was also not the right model and came damaged! And he tried to get us to buy that one instead of getting the right one, all the while refusing to give us a refund. It took 6 months and now at Christmas we are left without a couch. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!

I love the furniture collection here. The sales people are super friendly and the prices appear moderate but it’s easy to work the sales person down for a better bargain. I got my delivery close to when they said it would be. I will be buying more furniture there.
