I was looking for a venue for my wedding ceremony, and not being a member of a church I thought I would be out of luck. At someone’s suggestion, I tried contacting one of Collingwood’s beautiful old churches, All Saints Anglican Church, and was happy to find out we could get married there. Everyone at the Church was great to deal with, and I found the Reverand to be nice and fairly modern, not preachy and pushing for donations. Everything went well with the ceremony and the church building was absolutely beautiful, with old stone outside and wooden benches and stained glass windows inside. I did find it to be fairly expensive, by the time we paid for the church, Reverand, organist and the mandatory pre-marriage course it was around a thousand dollars, but it is a beautiful church and much better than getting married in a tent or in the rain. If your budget allows, I would recommend getting married in this beautiful old church.
