New to town? The worst thing is having to find someone new to do your hair! This week, the clouds parted and the heavens shone down and I heard angels sing… ha-lay-u-yah…finally found my place!
Normally, you may steer clear of a ‘chain’ salon. This experience was completely different. The stylists here are career professionals, some have been at this location for years, so it’s not a stepping stone. The salon itself is very clean, they have — get this– FRESHLY BREWED COFFEE AND REAL CREAM! That’s almost worth the price of admission.
Most importantly, I was given a thorough consultation, expert colour and cut, friendly, efficient and welcoming service at not an outrageous price. Their price list is clear, they have a loyalty card and lots of coupons and discounts.
My only, only, thing is that Redken products are old-​school, and, owned by L’Oreal, they still test on animals. I hope they re-​think that, or at least offer some organic options.
