Business Owner

I graduated from St. Mary’s Secondary School (Cobourg) in 2004. Where I then proceeded to obtain my bachelors degree at Brock University graduating with a double major in History and Political Science in 2008.

Realizing I needed to ‘test’ my new found graduate skills, I decided to learn my heritage language Greek. With only knowing two sentences in Greek (I’m Greek from Canada, and I don’t speak Greek) I booked my flight to the island of Crete Greece, with only two nights of a hotel booked. The plan, find a job and apartment within 48hrs. Then start to study the language, culture, and way of life. Fortunately for me I found a job within 3 hours of landing, and a condo steps to the ocean within 18 hours of landing. Right off the bat; I knew if I put my mind to something, I would get it done. After three and a half months of working 12 – 14 hours a day as a server, I was more fluent in Greek than I ever thought possible.
