History

Established in 2004.

new owners took the helm at Cobbleccino’s Café on November 1, 2008. steering the establishment from just a coffee shop and into the cozy world of casual dinning. The dinning area was transformed with comfortable leather Parsons chairs and leather club chairs, new tables and décor, and a fabulous washroom renovation. staff service areas have been re-designed with efficient, ergonomically improved work stations to ease the workload on staff and improve service to patrons. Kitchen equipment and systems have been updated for the same reason. All staff (including owners, servers, cooks and dishwashers!) are FoodSafe Certified and trained in the proper points of service and customer relations. ongoing training includes Serving it Right in anticipation of obtaining a liquor license.

My job it to ensure your experience is better than what you are used to. i am very proud of Cobbleccino’s staff, and am sure they will provide great food and beverage service, and healthy, fresh and super tasty meals made with the best of locally sourced products. I set out with the goal to be the friendliest Café in the Cowichan Valley. We have so many occasional regulars who stop on their way by on the highway and tell us we are the friendliest café on Vancouver Island“

I have many years experience in the food service industry, and although i enjoy the complements, i am looking for constructive criticism in every plate that hasn’t been licked clean. our management team corrects every issue as it may arise, and look for a systemic solution to prevent any repeat.

Several coffee and breakfast/lunch clubs have found a home at Cobbleccino’s Café, as well as a wonderful bunch of classic car enthusiasts who meet every friday night with their hot wheels.
