Salty’s Fish & Chips

So disgusting! I don’t know if it’s the type of oil they use or if they need to change the old oil but the food was drenched. Flavourless fish and the waitress didn’t come for our drinks… A huge disappointment

Went in for the Tuesday all you can eat fish and chips. Was not impressed with how greasy the fish was. The fries tasted like cardboard. We waited for a long time for service and was not to polite. We are not interested in going back anytime soon

Food was good however the quality of the service is lacking, forgotten appetisers, and I wouldn’t go there on a hot day no air conditioning

Second time here. Was pleasant the first time. We came for Tuesday all you can eat fish. It was no where as good as the first time we came. Fries were tastes coleslaw was good fish was overcooked way to much batter. Don’t recommend this place

Well my wife and I went to Saltys on Tuesday for the first time. Both of us ordered the all u can eat special of fish n chips which is Cod for $ 12 each. I asked how many pieces of fish and the waitress said two. I asked for one order with two pieces n make the other order 3 pieces. The waitress said we don’t do that u get your order then order more when u want. After waiting 15 minutes for our order it arrived and looked very good two large pieces of fish lots of fries n coleslaw. The coleslaw was very good, fries looked good but were very dry n had no flavor I think they must have been frozen instead of fresh. The fish looked good but was over cooked n of poor quality. The batter was very flakey n thick. I tried to order one more fish but after 10 minutes no waitress so I went to the cash area n ordered it waited 15 more minutes then decided to pay n leave. The customer service is poor, cod was some of the worst I’ve had on the left coast. If u want nice fish n chips don’t try this place. Try C lovers in Langley or Moby dicks in white rock or Pavlas in Steveston.

The fish was too greasy! It tasted like it was double fried and reeked of oil. To top it off my meal was cold so quickly I couldn’t enjoy it. Another thing I didn’t like was the restaurant was cold!!! Don’t recommend it.
