Westeck Windows & Doors

Ordered 12 windows for our renovations. We ordered the windows only to have one delivered without the frame and another were the screw was stripped. We contacted westeck only to find out the rep we bought from got fired or quit. The new rep blamed us for not looking over the order, though our original order says windows need the frames. Rep said we would have to pay for the frame and new window when it was their fault. We continued to be on contact with them, only to have the rep not email/​call back. We left a message to speak to the manager a few weeks ago, no contact has been made. What company doesn’t contact customers when They are unhappy, and blamed customers? our contractor has said he is taking all his business elsewhere.

We bought Westek windows and patio doors for our entire house renovation in 2006. Many of the latches and locks have broken. The patio slider latches no longer hold, and the track lock is the only thing that keeps the door secure. The window latches have failed on 4 of 8 windows. All the screen surrounds or plastic frames have yellowed and some have cracked and look cheap. If I were to buy windows again, I would definitely look for a better product.
