Nice One Nails

I saw a review for this salon on Unilocal so I called.
I was looking for a pedicure and noticed online that there is a 40% off birthday special at the salon. Since everything is always closed on December 26, which is my birthday, I called on Monday, the 28^th, and asked if I could still get the special. I was assured that I could and booked for the next day, which was my day off work.
I drove half an hour into town, specifically for this appointment, to the salon and walked in. The lady that seemed to be the manager came up to me and said that no, I cannot get the special because I need to come in on the actual day of my birthday. I told her what I was told on the phone and she said yes, it was her that I spoke to. She says again that I have to come in on the day of my birthday. We went back-​and-​forth about the fact that nothing is open on December 26^th and she refused to budge.
So, just on the principle of the matter, I walked out very, very unhappy, needless to say. I was crushed! I had been looking forward to this treat! I have no respect for a business that will hide behind technicalities like this. So unfortunately, I cannot recommend this shop.

I have gotten Solar Nails for the past 10 years and other acrylics and gels for many decades. I tried three other salons in the Sardis area of Chilliwack prior to Nice One Nails. Cathy, also the manager has done my nails since the salon opened in 2012. She does beautiful work. I find the staff warm and friendly. I also get regular pedicures and Lucy and Katrina are two of my favorites but I always get a good job. The prices are on par with other salons. They feature a 20% off special each Monday and 40% off on your birthday. They have a wide selection of choices and keep up to date with all of the current tends. The salon is very clean and 1^st class. There is ample parking. They are open Monday through Saturday.
