Fish Inn B&B

In an older house on a main street at the north end of the town, within walking distance of the old shopping center. A pleasant place. It was quite hot when we were there (August 18, 2012), well over 95 degrees F. Unpleasantly hot. Room AC only, in the bedrooms only. A fan in the living room. The front of the main floor is used for guests, the back rooms and the downstairs are the owners residence space. It was clean, comfortably furnished. The beds were adequate; one a standard queen the other a queen sized puffy mattress on a plywood frame. The small bath was fine. We were unable to operate the TV with any of the three-​four tuners provided, and the hostess said that evening that she didn’t know how to operate them. The next morning she said she did. Odd??. Breakfast was quite good. Parking is on the street as the locking gates were damaged ‘in a recent storm’ and had not been repaired.
