Meh. Quite expensive, mediocre food, and service that was simultaneously intrusive yet unattentive. Had to pour our own wine, sat with dirty dishes for a long time. Meat has been overcooked all three times we’ve been here, served with not great brown sauce, and side dishes are always carrots and turnips boiled and yet again served in some non-descript brown gravy. Nothing terrible, but for a hundred dollars per person plus we will not be back.

A pleasantly surprising meal in Chester. We came across this spot while driving through the area and decided to stay for dinner. The patio was a nice option but to be honest I was so over all the flies and bees surrounding us(obviously not the restaurants fault, I know). I had the Ahi Tuna appetizer which was delicious and fresh! However, I was a bit disappointed in the Salmon entrée which was undercooked. The server was eager to return it to the kitchen once I said something to her and it did taste better once cooked a bit more. All in all, everyone was pleased with their appetizers and entrees. Intimate atmosphere and clean. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

We Love Nicki’s!!! My Husband and I come to the south shore for work every year. With my crazy work schedule, it’s nice to have a quality place near by to have a nice dinner at the end of the week. From the moment we stepped into Nicki’s she made us feel welcome. She hosts our Large Production dinners each year we have been here and every one raves about the food and service. Nicki’s has such a great ambiance, and a variety of fresh fantastic food. I am addicted to her tuna tartare & salmon great combination. We also have many people that stay at the inn and say that she takes such great care of them. I love me some Nicki’s and I know you will too!

Nicki’s Inn is THE place to enjoy a relaxed fine dining experience if you are on the south shore. The owner ‘Nicki’ is a charming & experienced hostess. Highlights that make Nicki’s stand out are the covered patio, loads of natural light, big menu board(which is always changing) and the kicker would have to be the ‘Sunday Roast’ — like a traditional British Carvery you have the choice of Chicken, Lamb or Beef with roast veg and a tasty choice of wines. Nicki’s is a perfect place to go for an elegant evening after a day down on the South Shore. It’s pretty romantic too — great place for a special date or anniversary.
