Great find on Highway 6. Local, fresh, homemade food. Basic menu(soup, salad, sandwiches, quiche, breakfast all day) but the quality is fantastic. The sandwich bread is all artisanal, and everything is made on the premises. Price are really, really reasonable for the quality of the food. And make sure you have time to browse all the used books — there had to be several thousand piled all over the place!

This place is a converted old mill. I stopped by here because I wanted to check out the mill, but decided to stay for lunch. I’m glad that I did. I had the portobello mushroom burger which was very good — it is made with a sundried tomato and pesto sauce. The carrot cake is to die for. Very nice atmosphere as it is a renovated old mill and a book store, so you can walk around and peruse while you wait.
