Richmond Motors

History

Established in 1963.

Richmond Motors was incorporated in June of 1963. In 2013 we are celebrating our 50^th year of service to Southwestern Ontario. The name Richmond Motors was derived from the original location on Richmond St in Chatham, Ontario. After the move to the present location on Keil Drive during the 70’s, the management retained the name because they had built such an excellent reputation for sales and service for new Audi’s and Volkswagens. Car dealerships are built on their service departments, and Richmond Motors has the expertise, knowledge, and capabilities that surpass that of many larger dealerships.

Gerry (Our President) is approaching 30 years in the car business! After an interesting and rewarding career in commercial banking, he accepted a senior management position with a large Porsche Audi VW dealership in Toronto. He then became president and majority shareholder at Richmond Motors in 1994.
