Maple City Bakery

Had a few of their bakery items such as the canolis and croissants freshly made. Nothing to write home about. Open super early which is nice.

Well — I am shocked that no one has written a review about this Chatham bakery.
Maple City Bakery has been around for a long time — with good reason.
I have been coming here since I was a child. My mom used to bring me to get their pastries and paczki on Fat Tuesday (they make great paczki). I also highly recommend their breads and rolls, but must say that for our family — it is the «go to» place for birthday cakes.
Their cakes are awesome — our fav is the white cake with white icing and lemon filling. The cake is so dense and moist and stays great in the fridge for even a week after! The icing is wonderful — creamy and not too sweet. I am not a big fan of fondant — I like old school — and they do that to a «t».
So if you like those types of cakes, look no further than Maple City Bakery. You won’t be sorry!
