This place had amazing food. Best burger I’ve had in Cambridge to date. We went early afternoon so it was quiet. This is my second visit, the only negative was that they need a hostess.

Pleasantly surprised. Bartender helped us Select from a very interesting selection of craft beers. Tried a number of brews; coffee stout, strawberry cider and a local IPA. We had the grilled cheese with fries (the fries are something special) and the beet salad (goat cheese makes everything better).

Staying in the hotel so I thought is give the restaurant a try. Big mistake. Maybe because it was nearing the end of lunch service and they were preparing for dinner, but the food was below par. My wife had the ‘Mac & Cheese’. It was barely warm, like they didn’t nuke it long enough, and my ‘cod’ looked as though it had been sitting around in the kitchen all afternoon.
The service was ok, the waitress/bartender was polite and the food was served quickly. It’s too bad it really wasn’t any good.
There are a ton of other restaurants in the area. Maybe I was there on a bad day, but with all the other choices, I won’t be back.

This place was one of the better restaurants I’ve tried during my stay in Cambridge, Ontario.
1) Interior is very nice.
2) Service is very good.
3) Food is good to very good
4) Quality food at reasonable price.
I’ve given them 4 stars if my steak was cooked more. I ordered
medium rare but the meat was somewhat undercooked. Also the
meat was tough and chewy, indicating that the meat was either old or not defrosted properly.
Forget the China House restaurant next door. Come here instead.
