We bought all new kitchenaid appliances and a Samsung washer and dryer. The sales consultant Barb Stevens made it an amazing experience. I highly recommend them for your appliances. From sales to delivery they go above and beyond to ensure that you are a happy customer.

We were directed to Trail by our builder and the whole experience was smooth and trouble free. Our Rep Jen was fast, reliable and helpful.

We took possession of our new home in September and Trail failed to deliver our fridge by that date even though we had ordered it months in advance. As this progressed, it became clear that our rep at Trail had absolutely no clue what was going on. In the end, we ordered a completely different fridge. Our gas stove-top was broken(front left and right burners) on possession date. We had a tech from Trail come to our home in early December and were informed that he would order the parts and be back in a few weeks. After hearing nothing for two months, we made inquiries and found out that Trail had once again dropped the ball. After communicating with two of the owners, this week, I was told that they had found the parts and they were sending them down from Edmonton. I received a phone call today from the part manager, who clearly had no clue about our stove, wanting to send a technician again to look at the stove to find out what burners needed replacing. I have since made arrangements for another company to come look next week. Trail Appliances suffers from disorganization, lack of communication both internally and with customers, and lack of customer care and service. I would not recommend them to any friends or relatives and we will be steering clear of this company from now on.(If I could rate lower than 1 star, I would). See my review of Totem Appliance Repair Service and how they resolved the problem in 5 minutes.

«But by all means, if you find a cheaper price elsewhere, please come back and let us know and we’ll match it!» Yes, it’s the least I can do after I would have to waste my time elsewhere pricing out everything only to find out you have THE most expensive appliances in the city. We walked around for about 15 minutes completely CLUELESS about which fridge to buy. We had no idea what fridge did what, which ones would fit, or which would be right for us. There were about 3 customers in the store, two of which were being helped. The sales lady with one couple saw us unhelped and walked right past us to get something for her customers. Don’t worry, we’re cool. Get it, «Cool»?. No, not really, my blood was boiling. There is this huge SALESPERSONCENTRE in the middle of the store where about 15 associated were seated. Probably arsin’ around or playing . Ben was nice enough to finally come by and ask me if I required some help to which I asked«Are these people ALL sales associates?» he confirmed that they were and apologized that we hadn’t been by sooner. Ben was awesome. He taught us a lot about fridges, stoves, dishwashers. He was exactly what we were looking for in a sales associate. The only problem is their price matching guarantee. Trail marks up their prices to extreeeeeme heights and ensures COMEBACKWITH A CHEAPERPRICEANDWE’LLMATCHIT! Why. Why would I do that. I have no commitment to you and you’ve wasted my time by making me go check out other places. And that’s what we did, we went to three more places and found that the fridge we wanted was 3499 at Trail and 2 grand everywhere else. WHAT! 1500 dollar difference is another god damn fridge! I liked Ben, but not enough to go store to store to store and finally come back out of breath and say«Here’s what I have from the other stores, now what can YOU do??» Ben was a great associate, but time is money and I would advise if you’re in the market for a new appliance, don’t go there. They make their money on home builders and people who buy 10,000 $ fridges that look like cupboards. Their prices aren’t competitive and they should be doing the leg work for you, not the other way around.

K we brought our 9 yr old Ultraline in for repairs to the sensor that releases the gas for firing. Granted it took a while for parts but we got our unit back, cleaned too. it works as good as new. I have to wonder about some of these posters and think they may be the competition.

The service at this location is appalling. Rude, high pressure sales people and uncompetitive pricing. YMMV.
